Our shared love for God’s creation in nature is unsurpassed. I still can’t get over how you just went right ahead and grabbed those banana slugs on this hike (even on our 2nd date). Yet, you couldn’t get the slime off your hands for the rest of the day. Haha, you had that coming, not gonna lie. I remember we didn’t make it all that far on our hike because of all the off-trail side quests that we entertained. I really enjoyed that shared sense of adventure that you continue to live out.

We had way too similar of a childhood, and it’s engrained a special type of love for exploring and finding hidden spots like the rope swing we found that day. Let’s never lose our sense of love for exploring!
